Our awards

Winners of Best Covid-19 Company Response for Supporting the Community

This category recognises those employers that demonstrated a high level of corporate social responsibility by stepping up to provide support to others outside their organisation during the Covid-19 pandemic. Uncertainty and anxiety affected wellbeing and mental health around the world and there were many communities and groups in the population that needed help which drew great responses from local employers.

This Award is open to any individual, business, charity, social enterprise or other public body with a base in the UK. It may refer to the work they do as a whole or one specific project.
Winners for Tech for Good Award 2019

The Tech for Good category rewards social businesses that have harnessed the power of digital technology to increase their social, environmental or community impact. This may be via adopting new technologies to improve the delivery of existing services, or by creating new digital innovations that have a positive impact.
Winners of The Creativity Award 2018

This award recognises organisations that have done something creative, original or innovative. Organisations will have looked at available evidence and experience and worked to produce a response to a complex problem through a new approach: changing to a more efficient way of delivering support, restructuring a whole organisation, or something similarly innovative and different.
Winners of the Award for Digital Inclusion 2017

Promoting digital inclusion for ‘some of the most vulnerable people’ in Rhonda Cynon Taff, the Vale of Glamorgan and Cardiff. The setting up of voice activated Intelligent Personal Assistant Devices (IPA) – such as the Amazon Echo and Google Home – in the homes of people with learning disabilities to help them live more independently.

Our pledge & commitment

We ensure that all our staff and volunteers have an opportunity to develop basic digital skills, and that they take advantage of this opportunity.
We ensure that digital inclusion principles are embedded into our day-to-day activities and we support the role digital tools have in managing health and wellbeing.
We encourage and support our staff and volunteers to help other people to get online and have the confidence to develop basic digital skills, and help other organisations to embrace digital tools.
We encourage and support our staff and volunteers to help other people to get online and have the confidence to develop basic digital skills, and help other organisations to embrace digital tools.
We share best practice and activity around digital inclusion with the Digital Communities Wales – Digital Confidence, Health and Well-being programme so that our activities are co-ordinated for maximum impact and measured consistently.
We look to build local partnerships amongst organisations which want to share ideas and co-ordinate activities with others in their area.

We are committed to ending digital exclusion and are a digital charter accredited organisation.
