Finalist of Third Sector Organisation of the Year 2023

The Cardiff Business Awards 2023 is the ninth edition of the event, which celebrates the best businesses in Cardiff, the capital city of Wales

Winners of Digital Pioneers Award 2022

The Welsh Charity Awards, organised by WCVA, recognise and celebrate the fantastic contribution charities, community groups, not-for-profits, and volunteers make to Wales by highlighting and championing the positive difference we can make to each other’s lives. The Digital Pioneers Award celebrates a group or organisation which has used digital in an innovative way to make a huge difference to people’s lives.

Winners of Professional category 2022

The ‘Understanding Disability Awards’ arranged organised the Cardiff & Vale Parents Federation to celebrate the contributions and works completed to ensure people with a disability are provided with exceptional services.

Innovate Trust was awarded as the winner of the professional category for the impact the organisation made by ensuring that supported people are digitally included through our innovative digital initiatives and award-winning Insight app.

Winners of Best Covid-19 Company Response for Supporting the Community

This category recognises those employers that demonstrated a high level of corporate social responsibility by stepping up to provide support to others outside their organisation during the Covid-19 pandemic. Uncertainty and anxiety affected wellbeing and mental health around the world and there were many communities and groups in the population that needed help which drew great responses from local employers.

This award is open to any individual, business, charity, social enterprise or other public body with a base in the UK. It may refer to the work they do as a whole or one specific project.

Winners of Tech for Good Award 2019

The Tech for Good category rewards social businesses that have harnessed the power of digital technology to increase their social, environmental or community impact. This may be via adopting new technologies to improve the delivery of existing services, or by creating new digital innovations that have a positive impact.
Winners of the Creativity Award 2018

This award recognises organisations that have done something creative, original or innovative. Organisations will have looked at available evidence and experience and worked to produce a response to a complex problem through a new approach: changing to a more efficient way of delivering support, restructuring a whole organisation, or something similarly innovative and different.

Our pledge & commitment

We ensure that all employees and volunteers have an opportunity to develop basic digital skills and that they take advantage of this opportunity.

We ensure that digital inclusion principles are embedded into our day-to-day activities, and we support the role digital tools have in managing health and well-being.

We encourage and support our employees and volunteers to help others get online. We ensure they have the confidence to develop basic digital skills and help other organisations to embrace digital tools.

We commit support and resources for digital inclusion activities and initiatives in Wales in whatever ways we can, to ensure every citizen can engage digitally

We share best practices and activities around digital inclusion with the Digital Communities Wales – Digital Confidence, Health and Well-being programme so that our activities are coordinated for maximum impact and measured consistently.

We look to build local partnerships amongst organisations which want to share ideas and coordinate activities with others in their area.

We are committed to ending digital exclusion and are a digital charter-accredited organisation.
