One planet
One Planet is a climate action project run by Innovate Trust and funded by The National Lottery Community Fund’s Sustainable Steps Programme.
The project encourages adults with Learning Disabilities to learn about climate change and teaches them how to take climate action at home and in the community.
About the project
This is a 3-year project running until August 2026.
Project activities are a combination of online training and in-person sessions with the aim of teaching participants about climate change and how to reduce their carbon footprint. Online activities are available to access via Insight, our accessible social media App. In-person sessions take place in people’s own homes and gardens, as well as in community spaces.
Our activities are mainly free of charge, and we encourage anyone to join – no matter what your previous experience or support needs are.
