Peer Relationship and Sexuality Groups

Our Peer Relationship and Sexuality workshops provide a safe and supportive space for people with Learning Disabilities to access relationship and sexuality education.

These sessions are relaxed and fun, with lots of time and space for questions to be asked and discussions started. Everyone supports and encourages each other to learn, share stories and receive peer support to help develop healthy relationships and friendships. These workshops are possible thanks to the National Lottery Community Fund and Vale of Glamorgan Local Authority funding.

About our workshops

Our peer-led workshops provide relationship education for people with Learning Disabilities. Our workshops cover topics important to the participants, such as how to develop and maintain healthy romantic and sexual relationships, understanding our bodies, sexuality, understanding our bodies, sex, masturbation and more. The workshops are co-designed by the people we support. In doing so, we ensure that we are tailoring our sessions to the specific needs and interests of the group.

Sessions are running in Rhondda Cynon Taf in partnership with Caerphilly People First.

We welcome people with Learning Disabilities interested in learning more about relationships and sexuality to join us. Get in touch to find out more.
