What information do we collect?

Personal information you disclose to us

In short: we collect personal information that you provide us.

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services, when you participate in activities on the services, or otherwise when you contact us.

We do not process sensitive information.

Information automatically collected

In short: Some information, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address) and/or browser and device characteristics is collected automatically when you visit our services.

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the services.

This information not reveal your specific identity such as your name or contact information, but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our services, and other technical infromation.

  • Log and usage data. Log and usage data is service-related, diagnostic, usage, and performance information our servers automatically collect when you access or use our services and which we record in log files.
    Depending on how you interact with  us, this log data may include your IP address, device information, browser type, and settings and information about your activity in the services (such as the date/time stamps associated with your usage, pages and files viewed, searches, and other actions you take such as which features you use), decide event information (such as system activity, error reports (sometimes called ‘crash dumps’), and hardware settings).
  • Device data. We collect decide data such as information about you computer, phone, tablet, or other device you use to access the services.
    Depending on the device used, this decide data may include information such as your IP address (or proxy server), decide and application identification numbers, location, browser type, hardware model, Internet service provider and/or mobile carrier, operating system, and system configuration information.

    How much information we collect depends on the type and settings of the GPS and other technologies to collect geolocation data that tells us your current location (based on your IP address).

How do we process your information?

In short: we process your information to provide, improve, and administer our services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with the law. We may also process your information for other purposes with your consent.

What legal bases do we rely on to process your information?

In short: we only process your personal information when we believe it is necessary and we have a valid legal reason (such as legal basis) to do so under applicable law, like with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services to enter into or fulfil our contractual obligations, to protect your rights, or to fulfil our legitimate business interests.

Google analytics

We may share your information with Google Analytics to track and analyse the use of the services. The Google Analytics Advertising Features that we may use include: Google Analytics Demographics and Interests Reporting and Google Display Network Impressions Reporting.

How long do we keep your information?

In short: we keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outline in this privacy notice unless otherwise required by law.

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements).

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymise such information, or, if that is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been sorted in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

In short: In some regions, such as the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), and Switzerland, you have rights that allow you greater access to, and control over, your personal information. 

You may review, change, or terminate your account at any time, depending on your country, province, or state of residence.

In some regions (like the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), you have certain rights under applicable data protection laws. These include the right:

  • to request rectification or erasure
  • to restrict the processing of your personal information
  • if applicable, to data portability
  • not to be subjected to automated decision-making.

We will consider and act upon any request in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

If you are located in the EEA or Uk and you believe we are unlawfully processing your personal information, you also have the right to complain to your Member State data protection authority or UK data protection authority.

Withdrawing your consent

Controls for do-not-track features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a do-not-track (DNT) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected.

At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognising and implementing DNT signals has been finalised. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. 

If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this policy notice.

Do we make updates to this notice?

In short: yes, we will update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws.
