We are thrilled to share our immense pride in the recognition we received at the Cardiff and the Vale Parents Federation Understanding Disability Awards 2023!

Our team also had the privilege of presenting our comprehensive range of activities and opportunities, readily accessible to all through our user-friendly calendar on our Insight app. Insight empowers people of all abilities to explore and connect. It not only offers a range of experiences, but it also fosters a spirit of inclusion and empowerment.

Celebrating dedicated volunteers

We are deeply honored to witness the dedication and passion of our Secret Garden volunteers. The Committee award, presented to David and Darren on behalf of our project, recognises the dedication, time, and effort our volunteers have put in to the Secret Garden. Our volunteers exceptional efforts have been so important in transforming the garden into a thriving place of creativity, inclusivity, and community engagement. This recognition serves as a testament to our volunteers’ unwavering commitment to fostering a welcoming environment for all.

Owen’s commitment to conservation

Furthermore, our exceptional volunteer Owen received recognition for his commitment to conservation projects, demonstrating his active involvement in our projects. His contributions have undoubtedly made a significant impact on our organisation and the communities we serve.

A word from Nick Davies and the Understanding Disability Awards

Nick Davies, Chair of Understanding Disability Group, expressed his heartfelt gratitude for Innovate Trust’s commitment to providing transformative experiences. Nick also commended our Secret Garden project for its popularity and the positive impact it has on individuals’ lives. Additionally, he praised Owen’s dedication to conservation efforts and his active participation in Innovate Trust’s diverse range of activities.
