I joined The Secret Garden project because I like stories from the past and facts from other ages. I like learning new things like how people lived in that time. It’s a really good group, I enjoy myself. It’s important to learn about history, about past times living and how things have changed.

My favourite historical periods are the Middle Ages, past battles and kings who ruled over Europe. I enjoy hearing facts about this and how things that happened in the past affected the present.

My favourite spots in the museum are the Tudor Merchant house, the Iron Age roundhouse and St Fagans Castle. They’re just really great places I enjoy going around.

I joined The Secret Garden project because I love it there [the garden] and St Fagans. When I’m at the garden it helps me with my wellbeing and mental health which is why to me it’s so important that these projects carry on.

I like learning about how people lived and coped in the past.

My favourite spots in St Fagans are the farm and the terraced houses because they record different stages in time and show what people had and what they did.

The best thing I’ve done on this project is to learn about the Roper Family who lived at Ysgubor Fawr. It’s important for people to know how hard life was back in the day.

Today people have too much, they need to know the way we used to live.
