Insight into Climate Action

Insight into Climate Action is a project run by Innovate Trust and funded by the Postcode Lottery Community Fund. The project aims to educate people with Learning Disabilities about the causes and consequences of climate change and what steps they can take to reduce their impact.

About the project

Insight into Climate Action educates participants about the impact of climate action through a series of online workshops, training courses, shared digital resources and in-person sessions. The project will also support participants in designing and creating their own Easy Read educational resources about climate change so that this vital information is accessible and shared with a wider audience.

  • Workshops on how to be more environmentally friendly, green transport and climate change.
  • Tree planting
  • Practical environmental activities like litter picking and conservation work
  • Designing easy-read resources about climate change
