Insight app's
Volunteering Hub

Innovate Trust’s Volunteering Hub is a new Insight app feature developed by, and for, adults with learning disabilities.

The Volunteering Hub makes it easier than ever to find, participate, and get involved in meaningful volunteering opportunities.

Our Volunteering Hub project is possible thanks to WCVA’s Strategic Grant funding.

The Volunteering Hub has easy to use search filters.

Use the search filters to find roles that match your skills, interests, and availability.

Insight’s Volunteering Hub allows adults with learning disabilities to directly connect with local organisations through the Insight app.

This allows you to learn more about their mission, the work they do, and the specific volunteering roles they offer.

You can even express your interest and start the application process right within Insight’s Volunteering Hub.

The Insight app’s Volunteering Hub provides a safe and monitored environment for adults with learning disabilities and additional support needs.

You can be confident that your information is secure and that you are interacting with trusted organisations.

Through the Volunteering Hub, adults with learning disabilities and additional support needs can access practical tips and resources to build confidence, gain new skills, and learn about volunteering.

All resources on the Volunteering Hub are Easy Read documents or videos.

The Volunteering Hub’s stories section allows Insight app members to celebrate the achievements and experiences of people who have found opportunities through the Volunteering Hub.

Shared stories and feedback makes it safer for adults with learning disabilities and additional support needs to make a positive impact in a way that suits them.

Co-creation is key

By working closely with volunteers with learning disabilities from Cardiff, The Vale, Rhondda Cynon Taf, and online this ensures the Volunteer Hub meets unique needs and aspirations.

Through monthly sessions, our volunteers are shaping the content and design to create a truly inclusive and empowering space.

Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or just starting out, the Volunteer Hub has something to offer.

We believe everyone has the potential to contribute, regardless of experience or support requirements.
