Getting feedback and opinions from the people that use our services is very important to us; as the Take Charge project is finishing at the end of December we have been holding feedback events with our participants, where they can go back over the things that they have achieved and tell us their likes and dislikes.
As we have been working across Cardiff, the Vale of Glamorgan and Rhondda Cynon Taff, we held one feedback session in each area. We always supply lots of photos of what people have been doing, and some visual props as well to remind people – and of course, as Christmas is coming up, a good selection of cake and mince pies!
Recording feedback in this way is really important for us – we want the people who use our services to be involved with how these services are planned and delivered, so that they can get the most out of it. And the process of reviewing what people have learned and achieved will often deliver a confidence boost to the individual and inspire them to try more new things.
At the end of the sessions we gave people the chance to chat and socialise over some refreshments, and the jenga made an appearance again.
Thanks to everyone who attended the sessions – your feedback is so useful to us, and it will be used to plan future events and activities.
